Jester / Medieval Circus Workshop
Baldwin and Godfrey provide the best circus skills workshops in the kingdom!
We are both highly experienced tutors and the workshops are suitable for children and adults.
We believe our medieval circus workshop is unique because we use only medieval themed circus props.
All the circus skills props are made to be as authentic looking as possible
Metal plate spinning plates; Wooden stilts; Cloth bean bags; Wooden wheelies; Wooden / Metal tight rope
We can also use a more extensive range of equipment for events
where an authentic medieval workshop is not required.

Jester Costumes and Effects

All our jester props and costumes are authentic looking and appropriate for the period. Our costumes are suitable for all events when high quality medieval jester atmosphere is required.
The costumes are handmade by our own costume makers
Even our juggling clubs are handmade by us from wood and wicker.
Many other jester acts have costumes of modern synthetic materials and use modern plastic juggling clubs!

Jester Magic and Balloon Modelling

Baldwin the medieval jester can perform close up magic for children and adults wandering among the audience amazing all.
He is also adept at balloon modelling for both age groups as well!

Bring Out Your Dead – Peasants/Quack Doctor/Medieval Cart

This is a comic street theatre walkabout act which includes two or three performers and a medieval cart.

Two performers

Two peasants (or one peasant and the medieval doctor) and their body cart trundle around your event trying to collect those unfortunates who have succumbed to medieval life (and death!).

Three performers

Two peasants as above but with the added fun of a quack medieval physician / doctor who offers his skills to anyone at your event who needs a lotion, potion or bit of on the spot surgery to get them back to full health.
